Position Summary:
The Art department at Colorado College is seeking a Visiting Instructor (ABD or MA with related professional experience) or Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) to teach 3 intensive “block” courses in spring 2025 in Arts of the Americas. This position starts January 19th, 2025, and ends April 17th. Prior teaching experience preferred. The courses might be in any combination of the following: Colonial Latin American Art, Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art, Native North American Art, Modern and Contemporary Art in the United States. Courses may include consideration of issues such as race, justice, gender, environmentalism, and power. Specific course content will be dependent on the candidate’s interests and developed in consultation with the department.

Minimum Qualifications: MA with related professional experience, ABD or PhD in Art History.
