Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lyons, NY
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Must have an active New York State License
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in long-term care facility
Benefits of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- The salary for this position is $45 / hr
- This is a Full-time position
- 5 Sick days
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Carries out uncomplicated therapeutic treatments such as giving enemas, preparing and applying simple dressings, and administering certain medications in accordance with established policy;
- Assists in the implementation of the nursing care plan;
- Takes the temperature, notes the rate of pulse and respiration, and observes the records of other signs and symptoms as directed;
- Collects specimens and assists in carrying out diagnostic procedures under supervision;
- Assists in the admission and discharge of patients;
- Assists patients in performing ambulating exercises and maintaining proper joint motion;
- Cares for equipment used in the care of patients as directed;
- Makes beds and performs other tasks designed to provide a suitable environment for patients;
- Bathes patients and gives personal hygienic care.
