Job Description:
Responsible for teaching CNA courses and assessing learning outcomes in area of instruction. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.
Work Location: Primarily Scott Urban Campus, Davenport, IA with sometimes working at Muscatine Campus
Required Qualification:
Must have a current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license and bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Must have at least two years of experience as an RN. Two years or more experience in long-term care preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the CNA program.
Team Player: Willingness to assist the Program Manager in various administrative tasks associated with program operations.
Teaching experience in a community college setting is highly desirable.
Criminal background check will also be required.
