Major/Essential Functions
In line with TTU’s strategic priorities to engage and empower a diverse student body, enable innovative research and creative activities, and transform lives and communities through outreach and engaged scholarship, applicants should have experience working with diverse student populations at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels within individual or across the areas of teaching, research/creative activity, and service.

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants should have an earned doctorate in Public Health or a closely related field with an emphasis in Epidemiology or Biostatistics.
  • Applicants should have the ability to develop and teach undergraduate courses in health-related fields such as public health, environmental health, chronic disease prevention and control, biostatistics, or epidemiology.
  • Applicants should have specific area(s) of research and/or creative activity in biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, chronic disease prevention and control, and/or health disparities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-doctoral research experience in relevant areas.
  • Previous grant applications or ability to obtain external grants.
  • Evidence of undergraduate student teaching.
