GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team. This position is full-time and will support the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA in a hybrid capacity with up to 80% teleworking approved.

Overview:
- Support its Information Technology (IT) team as a Project Manager.
- Lead multiple teams and projects associated with enterprise IT and facilities initiatives supporting the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP).
- Work in a technically diverse and dynamic environment with a team of IT professionals responsible for partnering with our facilities teams to support the business.
- Interface with both enterprise IT and facilities support groups to effectively and efficiently communicate and document user needs.
- Establish project scope, schedules, work breakdown structure, planning assumptions, and evaluate requests for scope, budget, or schedule changes.
- Report and provide solutions for project issues affecting work evolutions.
- Responsible for the development of periodic project assessments and communicating status with stakeholders and customers.
- Establish and review project performance metrics and take appropriate actions to correct deviations.
Clearance & Citizenship Requirement:
- To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued “L” clearance; candidates with an active or very recently active DOE “L” Clearance, DOE “Q” Clearance, DoD “Secret” Clearance, or DoD “Top Secret” Clearance are highly preferred.
- Due to the federal nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is requ ired.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with enterprise-level information technology including networking, desktop support, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with, or knowledge of, facilities construction and engineering.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
- Certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have project management experience.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong teaming and interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have experience with Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
