We are looking to hire a Digitization & IT OT Manager  immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The Digitalization & IT OT Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and functional expertise on digitalization strategies as well as developing the systems and processes to enable the successful and efficient implementation of IT OT systems for the Americas Supply Chain. This work will be aligned with the overall ASC masterplan which will help deliver breakthrough performance improvement through cost reduction and production throughput improvements. This position will work closely with site and regional teams and will be further tasked to build capability within this area with these teams.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop the LTP (3-5 year) digitalization & ITOT strategy to advance the supply chain through technology enabled loss elimination

• Working with the Digitalization and GBS teams, ensure strategy is executed and monitored through annual masterplans

• Investigate how new digital technologies may benefit the Americas Supply Chain (GenAI, ML, Reporting, etc)

• Ensure IT/OT Cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into strategy and masterplans

• Develop the processes for projects requiring new IT/OT systems considering current organization structure

• Ensure clear roles & responsibilities between Supply Chain and IT functions

• Monitor and improve processes based upon feedback

• Develop design standards to ensure capital projects comply with IT and cybersecurity policies

• Manage budget, scope, and schedule to meet project success criteria

• Lead internal and external resources as per project requirements

• Ensure projects comply with all standards, policies, procedures

• Work with Operations and IT teams to lead high priority, high impact IT related issues within manufacturing

• Work with plant teams to review loss analysis and identify opportunities for improvement

• Provide coaching to sites and Americas CI Managers, Plant Managers, and Functional/Manufacturing Directors.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with project execution & management related to digitalization & IT OT systems.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and influence across functions and across levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work with external consultants
  • Ability to collaborate across different sites regionally. Ability to build diverse, inclusive teams to drive innovation and business results.
  • Ability to lead significant culture change through strong people change management, which includes ability to coach and develop others in leadership and technical competency.
  • Ability to proactively lead and coach teams to solve advanced problems and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex information to make judgments and decisions using advanced problem-solving tools.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and align overlapping and competing requirements to achieve an acceptable desired end state for all parties
  • Experience in the manufacturing environment both with packaging and processing systems
  • Experience with managing manufacturing, IT/OT, projects
  • Experience with implementing and leading change on the manufacturing floor, training in change management is an asset
  • Cross-functional program and/or project management experience
  • Technical documentation – Knowledge of and ability to maintain technical documentation
