IT Project Manager

The rate is $75 to $85 per hour.

Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of complex IT projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and budget oversight. A strong background in ASC 606 reporting within the banking industry is essential, with additional experience in CAT reporting being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scope Definition: Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and milestones. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including personnel, technology, and budget. Manage resource utilization to ensure optimal efficiency and project success.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and resolve issues promptly.
  • Project Budget and Financial Oversight: Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting. Manage project costs and expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Stakeholder CommunicationMaintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners. Provide regular updates on project progress, changes, and risks.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • ASC 606 Reporting Experience: Proven experience with ASC 606 reporting requirements and implementation within the banking industry. Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and compliance.
  • CAT Reporting Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with CAT (Consolidated Audit Trail) reporting and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply project data.
