Lecturer in Fine Arts (Introduction to Drawing)

The Department of Fine Arts at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for FA3a, Introduction to Drawing, a four-credit course in Spring of 2025. This course is a studio class that introduces a range of drawing materials and methods, intended for both studio majors and non-majors. The class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:20pm – 3:10pm or 11:15am – 1:05pm

Candidates with Master of Fine Arts or equivalent and demonstrated teaching at the college or university level will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is October 15th 2024.

This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.
