POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at Jackson State University is accepting applications for a position as Assistant Professor of Management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION: Must have a doctoral degree, or must have a ABD in Management, or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Demonstrable knowledge in one or more specialized areas of management, such as Organizational Behavior, Business Ethics, Strategic Management, or Human Resources.
  • A strong record of scholarly publications or a promising research agenda is preferred.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advise and mentor students on academic and career development.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management.
  • Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in peer reviewed journals.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
