Job Description

Marshall University (School of Medicine) seeks an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Endocrinology to provide evaluation and care for inpatients as assigned on a rotational basis, outpatients in ambulatory practice, participate in clinical practice/teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, and initiate and complete clinical research with medical students and residents as part of their scholarly activities. Additional duties assigned per the direction of the section chief and department chair.

Salary Range: Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity

Education

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
• Must have a clear and unrestricted West Virginia medical license at time of employment.

Experience

• Must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism or equivalent endocrinology fellowship program.
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
