The Department of Education Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) in the College of Education is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer – Professional Track Faculty (part-time) for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Professional track Faculty positions do not carry rank and are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal.

Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses on the undergraduate or graduate curriculum, depending on the department’s needs. Teaching is in one of the following areas:

  • Educational Leadership
  • Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis
  • Higher Education
  • Community College Leadership
  • Adult and Lifelong Education
  • Counseling and Counselor Education

This position will remain open through the end of the academic year; however, we will be screening applicants on an ongoing basis. 

Minimum Experience/Education:
Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in the appropriate field of interest. A terminal degree is required to teach at the graduate level.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent teaching ability.
  • A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated Experience in Educational Leadership
